General appropriations accounts and vouchers, 1815-1816, 1863.

This series contains records of payments made to individuals from the general appropriation of revenue. Many of the claims concern state or local officials who were reimbursed for overpayment of taxes or for out-of-pocket expenses related to their duties. The accounts contain the names of persons to whom payments were made, the amounts, and the dates paid. The vouchers include the names of persons to whom money was owed, the amounts, and the date the voucher was submitted.
